Hey, does anyone know how to make a php search engine?
Also, how can you search using wildcards? e.g. if you have a persons first name, and you want to find out a persons last name, you put them into a engine it picks out all the people with same first name (showing last names and other details).

Look into the MySQL LIKE statement. eg: WHERE `x` LIKE('%TEST%'); Would match: test TESTte test TESTTESTte etc. |
