It's been ages since I've touched Photoshop.

AGES.

Just made this in about 20 minutes today.

Thats quite good that dude, have you got the original image in which you started with to show us what it started with ?

it's not bad. i think there's an overuse of filters/text effects, though. some bits aren't feeling like they are part of the picture, but rather like they were just added on as an afterthought. still, for under 30 minutes and not having touched ps in a while, not bad at all. =]

edit; noticed a few typos:

'terryifying' should be 'terrifying'
'...sleep for nights!.' should be '...sleep for nights!'

I think the image itself is pretty good, don't think it's too over-filtered or anything.

Text-wise, the bottom-most stuff is good, the "house on haunted hill" text is decent enough but I really don't like the lines above or below. The quotes/recommendations are the ones I really don't like, don't think they fit in here, one either side of the "house on haunted hill" perhaps to try? And get rid of the text effects, just go for simple white or black.

The top text is the one that's giving me trouble deciding whether I like or don't like, possibly reduce the distance on the drop shadow? Not sure entirely.

I do like it though.

Kami, overly noobish of me to have those typos in an image, failure. But yeah, I think I went overboard with some of the text effects, should definitely pay more attention to it.

Anselm, the lines I added because the text by itself was looking pretty bare. But okay, perhaps something a little more subtle would be suiting. The top text was something I liked in fact, I thought that maybe the font-size was a bit much, but that was the text that's supposed to catch a reader's attention.
