I'm trying to get into the affiliate part of running a forum, but I'm afraid I don't know much about it. I do know what it does, and that the normal size for an affiliate banner is 88x31. I was wondering what other banner sizes are acceptable for affiliating with other forums?
I'm not sure if this is the place to post this question or not. If not, then I apologize to the staff for my ignorance.

An affiliate is a small image used for advertising  Forums may have affiliate tables for other peoples forums to be advertised on. With the sizes, I've never seen an affiliate table with bigger size images than 88x31. |

88x31 is the accepted size, certainly on ProBoards anyway. Probably best not to go with anything other than that. Is that all you're looking for? Any other questions might be better in Support or possibly even GT, depends how support-ish vs. discussion-ish they are. |

No worries - sticking with 88x31 is probably best |
