Skin Rate

I was wondering if somebody could rate my skin for a future site. The site's skin isn't done yet. But, that is where a second thought comes into mind. For the side table title images, do you have any ideas on what i should do? (The white image is just a place holder for now) Should it just be plain text or an image? If an image, what kind?

I wanted basic advice for stuff like that. As I said, images aren't done. I really just wanted a rate so far and any ideas that could help make it better. By the way, it is a stray cat roleplay.

I think it's beautiful. It's relatively easy on the eyes and it's very subtle. The colors blend well. Well done.

I would try and find a nice textured background, something subtle, nothing bright or distracting, then mess the coloring a little bit to make it match the darker blue of the boards!

That's absolutely beautiful. @.@ I sat there staring at the banner (which is one of the best-made graphics I've seen in quite a while) for about a minute before I realized what I was doing.

I agree that a background would be good, because even though the colors are gorgeous the lack of a background makes it look really plain. If you can't find any that you like, my suggestion would be to use this. You can pick a pattern (each of which has several variations), then put in one or three colors (it depends on the pattern chosen), and it'll generate a tile that can tesselate into a background. I don't know if it'll help you, but I've seen several sites use that generator to good effect. May as well mess around with it and see where it gets you.

As for the side tables, I'd say to either go with plain text or use something very simple.
