Okay, so I'm not the best with graphics and making skins but I'm working on one at the moment. I just can't quite get the colours right. This is what it currently looks like and I know it's not perfect but I was wondering if anyone had any pointers about how to improve it or what needs changing, fixing etc. Especially with regards to the colours cause I know it looks a bit off at the moment xD any help would be much appreciated.

EDIT:: it has been changed since the below comment was made, I just still can't get it right. More help/suggestions would be absolutely wonderful.

I think you need to work from the colours in the banner, or change them. There's greeny greys in one half of it and more bluey ones in the other half, so the blacks in the skin look too harsh. Try grabbing some of the colours from the banner. Why the reds?

I think the colour scheme is too random, on a whole. It all needs to link together. Either change the hex codes slightly or try making the banner grey scale so it fits more?

And the text is puzzling me... I don't think it should be 'a present day, harry potter roleplay', but 'a present day harry potter roleplay', without the comma.

I really like the banner and background. The rest is a bit plain/typicalish though.

I think changing the sub-board header graphics would be a good move to make. They're good, the orange text just seems...I don't know. Go with something like the smokey effect on the rest of the skin to match it.

I really like it, actually I think the orange is quite soft, as far as oranges go, and it makes the text stand out. I love the banner - it's really lovely The background is nice aswell I also really like the whole smokey vibe of the skin. Great, overall
