Alrighty, lately I have been having a very annoying problem with my Photoshop Elements 6. The text is the wrong size! Want an example?
That is suppose to be ten pixels and it clearly is not. I just don't know what to do. I've tried closing it and re-opening my Photoshop. Nothing. I've tried restarting my computer. Nothing. And what's even more frustrating, it doesn't always come up like this, but most of the time it does and I really need the normal font sizes so I can make decent looking small text. Not this jumbo stuff. I need to get down to 2 or 3 pixels to even get a small size and then most of my fonts are messed up.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Try inputting the font size as "10 pt". That'll be more realistic.

10 pt is what is already entered as my text size. I guess pixels might not be the right word for the size, but that's how I've become accustomed to calling it to myself. x]

Yeah, pt = points and px = pixels. Check that that's the case.
My PS has the same problem too sometimes, I'm pretty sure it's just the extension. You've definitely got a 10 pt font size inputted? If you have, try 10px.

Hm...that seems to work, but then when I enter it it goes back to pt...it just does the correct pt size. Like I entered 10px and it went to 2.41pt. That's fine, I just found it weird. x]
Thanks for the help Anselm! =]

I'm not certain but I think this might be to do with the dpi setting of the image - make sure you set the dpi to 72 and then pt and px will be in a 1:1 ratio.
