How do I 'rem' a line in a post?
ie I don't want to delete the line, but to 'hide' it
Thanks.
Barry.

I don't think there is any built-in way to do this on a forum. Either way, with some JavaScript and CSS this could be done. If it is for a forum, Code Requests would be the place to look.

What do you mean by "hiding" the line? Do you want to make it visible only in the posting form (aka hide it in the thread display), or do you want to make it "invisitext" (transparent but it still takes up space)?
This would be possible using JavaScript and wouldn't be too hard to create; it could be done with a switch-it type code with a location check, for example.

Thanks.
Yes Devin, your first one is correct.
I just wish to 'prepare' a big long list of 'links' in a locked post which most will start as 'inactive' then as I complete the external links, I will 'unhide' each line in the post one by one over a period of time. It also serves as a reminder as to what I have still to do.
I would have thought there would be a simple prefix like 'REM' in Basic that tells BB to ignore the rest of the line.
Cheers.
Barry.

This feature isn't built-in to ProBoards as iDunk said, but it is definitely possible through a code. Check the code database and if you can't find anything try requesting it.

Can't find anything in the code database and it will take too long to request one so will just give up on it gracefully I think. :-)
Thanks for help.
