Could I get an opinion on my skin?

I spent the better part of 3 hours building the basic components of this skin, I was wondering what people thought of it before I continued with the custom images and everything. I was trying to go for simplicity, with blues and greys, but I do think I put too much blue I was thinking of switching the bg color to a light grey or almost off-white color. Thoughts?

hmmm maybe it's just my computer, but the images that are before/after the menu links aren't loading o.O

but like you said, i think a bit too much blue xD
either you could tone down the blue (make them more like a slate blue color) or put more grays in. eyes don't like that bright blue in that amount lol.

the background is a really need concept with the border type color and then a darker color behind. i would say keep that (:

are you planning to do custom images for the on/off icons and the info center icons?

I'm not sure what you mean by the images that are before and after the menu links. This is what it should look like on your screen:

Do you have a screen resolution under 1024x768? If so the banner and bg will not align properly. And I fixed the bg, what do you think now, better? I also used a very light gaussian blur on the text in the logo to soften it up a bit, as it looked kind of harsh.

hm well the lines between the menu links doesn't show up for me. may just be google chrome on my computer being stupid xD it does that haha


i like the gray as the background better. everything lines up properly but it brings more attention to the actual forum boards (:

Ah, I see that on IE too. I believe I have fixed it, just a simple coding error. IE and Chrome were looking for an image, but the | symbol was the alternate. Firefox just places the alternate there without a broken image symbol. It should be fixed now, thanks
