Any graphics forums?

I miss the old days of SSD and want to find something to browse around now and then.

I recently saw a signature image in another forum and the style reminded me of many I've seen in the proboards community. Since SSD no longer exists, I'd like to find something somewhat similar so I can look around and tutorials, work people has done, and just be in a graphics-minded community now and then.

I've checked the thread with the (extremely) outdated list of graphics forums in the proboards community and found them all to be either gone, closed, or completely inactive. I've also done some Google searches and I've come up empty there as well.

So... I'm seriously asking if there are any more graphics forums on proboards, and if so, where are they? If you know of one but don't want to post it for fear of breaking an advertising rule, please PM a link to me.

lol I'm already a member there, but haven't been there in about a hundred years. I guess I'll look around inside.

As for the others, I'm looking for something more active, kind of the way SSD was. I'm not looking for something where I can be a regular, active member - just something I can drop in now and then to read tutorials and look at peoples' work... maybe add to some conversations now and then.

I miss the Zanmato Design and G101 days, those were my home. In all honesty, the design forums will never live up to the ones that were around back in the day.

I go to archive.org and check out all the oldies.

ExDat, Dx5, G101, Zenith, SSD, Visual Conceptions....

I believe ProVision is still around-ish.

I think there is going to be another version of Provision, I'm not too sure.

I just used archive.org to check out the memories of ExDat but there wasn't any matches found.

I'm actually planning on building one really soon here. been a PB fan since the beginning! many years ago and a great SSD fan since V1 zanmato, g10,1 PV, all the greats! only thing is i don't have anyone willing to help with it and i can only use premade codes atm =/ but meh, PM if you want details or wanna help! i plan on having the next SSD ( haha yeah i know, there is no such thing but i can dream )!

Yeah, the graphics era of ProBoards is dead. There just isn't the desire (and/or talent) around here to get the quality we used to have. There was competition among the boards, and everything was good - but from what I remember, egos got in the way of running the boards properly and now they are no more. It's unfortunate because the graphics designers in these PB communities had a unique style and I miss it.

I agree, Yilduz. Maybe it will pick up eventually who knows, but it will never be the same again.

Ahhh I'd love there to be a forum around that I love signing in to and catching up on things/people! I hope one days there is more of that!
