The normal members get to try to kill the mafia. They kill one person per tern just like the mafia

Okay, I'm going to close down the sign-up now, so that the game will move faster.
I'm going to randomly assign the roles to the people who signed up. Then I'll start the next round in this thread once I've PMed everyone their role.
Once that's done, we're going to start on the NIGHT ONE.
The FOUR mafia members are going to find a way a way to chat by PM or otherwise and decide who to kill. Once they've decided unanimously, they will PM the name of the member to me. At the same time, the doctor will PM me the name of a member who they want to save. If the doctor and mafia choose the same member, than that member doesn't die.
Also, the detective will PM me the name of a member and I will respond with whether or not the member is in the mafia or not. NOTE: PEOPLE CAN LIE ABOUT BEING THE DETECTIVE, including mafia members.
When all of that is done, I'm going to declare it DAY ONE and I'll tell you what that means. In the mean time, no one can discuss the details of the game in the thread. That is for the day.

Night 1
I take a stroll with my woman downtown. (I'm guessing Chicago) I pass people on the streets. Not paying attention to any of them.
It's the holiday season, lots of shoppers. I spot a fancy fur coat in the window of Macy's. Maybe if she's lucky my gal will end up with it for Christmas. I'll need to cash my paycheck, maybe I'll pick up the coat tomorrow or the next day.

(Well, I'll take my cue from Ryan, then. ) I'm wandering around downtown by myself, window-shopping and occasionally dipping into a store to quickly buy an item and then escape the throng again. I'm keeping an eye out around me at the busy crowds, of course, and I'm never completely comfortable in the crowds. I'd rather be completely alone, but I have to do Christmas shopping for my family members. |
