GT Mafia: Round 2 ((Post-Game))

That night, it was far too quiet for hours on end. Villagers tried to distract themselves with entertainment, fun and games, and food before finally settling uneasily in their beds. Some had set up protection again, but that protection could easily go so very wrong.

It didn't take a genius to figure out who the Mafia targeted that night. In the wee hours of the morning, a tremendous explosion was heard, and when the sun finally rose, everyone raced to the now-cold, faintly smoking ruins of what had been Patrick Clinger's hut.

This tragic event was underscored by the harsh realization that the village had just lost another villager as they desperately fought the tides of evil once more.

Thus begins day six.

I did just about when you posted... I usually post the day-changer first, go to update the title and the players list second, and PM the killed player third. You're just too fast.

Mmm. The other two mafia are tricky. They could be anyone. Personally, I am still suspicious of Dom.

I am most suspicious of Woop. Despite him moving, I think he's been online and could have at least tossed in his thoughts. At this point, we don't know who the real detective is, so we have no real way of knowing for sure unless we lynch him.

I know we were also suspicious of Shiraz and were wrong...however, many were suspicious of Woop from the beginning. I think it may be time to act on that suspicion.

Well with Patrick I just lost the one person I trusted However I'm very glad to know that he was not the real detective.

jetta-I'd like to hear a few reasons as to why you find me suspicious? I was one of the first people who suggested Ricky as mafia, after Lost brought him up, and Lost is a confirmed villager now. I also voted **hp, and have asked on multiple occasions that the detective inspect me. It's not exactly my fault the detective hasn't yet, but I think I've asked twice to Ryan, then I asked Patrick, and two days ago I asked Patrick to forward my request to whomever may be the real detective.

As for suspects, meh they really haven't changed. Patsfreak101 maybe? I've suggested him numerous times but there was always someone more suspicious each time.

EDIT: ^Patsfreak or woop. I don't know, I have no hard evidence really.

That could all be part of the mind screwage. I'm not saying I know for sure, just suspicious. Because you seem like one of the least likely, you might actually be the mafia. Perhaps I am still too hooked on the last game where there was A LOT of mind games going on.

I'm going to cast my vote for woop. If he's mafia as I suspect he is, then you will know for sure. And if he's not, I know exactly who gave me that information, and that person would have deceived me. Out of a matter of protection of that person, I will not mention them unless they wish to speak up here and now. It would be pretty dumb for me to cast the first vote on a final ally if I was mafia, wouldn't it? I had gained the trust to be on PM terms with both Ryan and Pat before they were killed, and neither were concerned whether or not I was mafia. I only wish the detective could have investigated me earlier.

The mafia could have worked out a plan. One person would turn in all three of them and because they voted for those people and were correct three times then they wouldn't be a suspect at all. Three sacrifice themselves so one can take out everyone else and win the game for the mafia.

Not related to my previous paragraph, I noticed the other two who were confirmed mafia didn't do much to protect themselves once they were accused. It could have been they were busy with winter vacation and didn't have much time or it could be something else.

From what I can tell, mafia members are thinking the more they refute claims, the more we believe they're guilty. That was actually part of the reason I thought Shiraz was mafia -- any accusations against her were just sort of shrugged off.

I'll admit that's an interesting plan, however I don't think I would have followed it even if I was mafia (Which I'm not ). If that does happen then you are playing a game of chance. If the detective picks the last remaining mafia member, it's game over. If the mafia are doing that, it's a really stupid plan in my eyes, as it leaves very little chance of victory.

I'm still a neighborhood watch member and will vote for the benefit of the village. I'm still going with Phaelyn's post about woop and reinforce my vote for woop.

Well, since there's not much evidence on anyone else, and Dom's already put in his vote, I'll go ahead and vote for Woop.

To me that means he's mafia, it's been 5 days already. Even the most unlucky villager would have gone with a mafia member on one vote by now, right?

Hm. I hadn't thought about checking past votes. This is an interesting observation -- again, more of what I see as proof of his mafia-ness.
