You are right. At this point I am not concerned with swinging the vote to lynch you. However by not retracting your vote I am beginning to wonder...Please don't push this vote right now, because you are the mayor so late in the game, your 2 votes are very powerful, too powerful for you to take them lightly. Please reconsider retracting your vote.

After a long on tough journey, one that sometimes moved like mud in a swamp and at other like snow in an avalanche, the village of

ProBoardia is once again peaceful. The mafia threat has been defeated. After a slow day of deciding who to kill the town eventually

came to stand behind new Mayor Ricky. Dove the final mafia member was strung up in classic fashion with the NOOSE OF

JUSTICE. The crowd watched in anticipation as the trap door dropped from beneath her. Afterwards the crowd looked to each other. They

had survived. But at what cost? Friends and loved ones lay buried in the village cemetary.

Their names printed here for all to remember.

While I'm glad we picked right, I can't believe how quickly everyone voted on the suspicion without looking at everybody else first. Just thinking about what might have happened if we were wrong, the consequences may have been disastrous.

Having said that, Dove was beginning to stand out by page 8 I just hadn't gathered anything else other than the evidence gathered from this post, not that it matters anymore: support.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=gotopost&board=games&thread=378950&post=4306471

That lead me to the last game Dove was in, and I was looking at how her posts in the last game were different. Ultimately it wasn't looking good for you Dove, though Nightwalker also had a questionable post or two, albeit nothing like the evidence against Dove.

Well, I'm glad us 6 survived, and I mourn those who have lost their lives in this gruesome battle of deception, especially Adam who we lynched on day one, how stupid of us

I was going to pm this to everybody, but I figure I'll just post it here instead

To all Mafia players:

Congratulations on a great game. If you survived, great . If not, I'm so sorry about your death, it pains me to no end. In the game that is.

That's right, this is a game we were just playing, with fake characters, fake conversations, and fake mafia members. This means that I don't take these fake conversations into consideration when I find you on GT or at another board. This is because I respect the boundary between reality and character. Yes, I put on a persona for the mafia game, not because I have something to hide, but because I find it more interesting, and it keeps people on their toes. I encourage you to do the same, but I would like to remind you that I will in no way use the information in this game against you or any other person outside of further mafia games or PB Mafia discussions. I hope you do the same, and happy living everybody!

So just a question if the last two mafia would mind answering (Dove and HP): What was the motive behind waiting all that time not killing the mayor, then suddenly killing the mayor two days in a row? Was it that you were trying to get a mafia member into the position?

Was I really defending myself at points where I wasn't being accused? I thought I was defending myself whenever someone mentioned a suspicion of me I'll try not to do that next game

This was a fun game to follow. Just when it began to look worrisome for the villagers, they came back and got 3 mafia members in a row. ;D This also marks the third consecutive game won by the villagers.

I might or might not join in the next game. I'll have to see how much work my professors give me for the upcoming weeks.

I just have one thing to ask out of curiosity (to Ryan, the nurse, or the last few mafia) -- who did the nurse successfully protect during Night 8?

There was no way I was moving away from that vote. Thanks to Nightwalker and Robert for sticking with this one

Well if you looked at my argument for taking the full 48 hours, you would see that there's still one more chance for the village the following day if the mafia got control of the mayor spot. Of course, I wasn't going to mention that if I wanted the time to gather evidence today But we would have been cutting it close if we did make that mistake...
