Who's The Boss? *post-game*

Robert, the Night round can be variable length, ranging from 6 to 12ish hours. Think of mafia, but we only have to wait for one person (the boss) to act, rather than three parties. So in theory, the night round should be significantly shorter than the night in Mafia.

Also, a quick question for Trill- what constitutes "hacking the network" for the rat? Is it just PM'ing you for info, or would they have to do something else?

Bumping this. We're about half way there with sign-ups. If we don't have enough players by Monday afternoon, I'll have to cancel the game because of lack of interest.

This can definitely be a quick game and can easily finish before Ryan starts his zombie-themed Mafia game.

Quick game? Well duh, the boss can kill off almost half of the members in one night

Sorry DLG, missed your post.

Robert, see the "Firing List" section of the rules. The boss is only allowed to fire a set number of people per round. For example, 4 in the first round, 3 in the next two rounds, and 2-1 in subsequent rounds. It depends on the number of people left in the game. A game with 20 players might start off with two rounds of 4 firings. A smaller game might start with only 3 firings in the first round.

Well then it just seems too complex.

If I end up being the boss, then if somehow everyone votes and I'm sleeping and it becomes night, then you all have to wait until I get back online the next morning.

If I'm not the boss but further into the game I still survive, and it's like four people left, and it's night (for me) and I'm the only one who hasn't voted, then the game has to wait until I wake up (real life) before it can continue.
