So basically, I was curious how people made sort of.. 3D effects on their art using ps. :3 Like, say I had a square -- how would you make that into a block?
The reason I ask is because I'm doing a bit of a mockup on some cell-phone type thing (it's a layout design, and I really don't want it poached before I can get it live, which is why there's no link. =X might PM to someone), and I'm finding it hard to balance a sort of 'hand drawn' feel, with a 'sexy pretend cellphone' feel. =X
In essence, I'm trying to make it look like a mix between an iphone and a blackberry curve. :3

Just had a look on psd tuts and this and this seem to be along the lines of what you're looking for although the way they're represented is very flat so it's maybe not exactly what you're after. Also the 3d tools in the newer versions of ps might be quite useful or to go for a very photorealistic look a proper 3d program of some kind.

Hm, not quite what i was going for, they're a little too realistic, but it does give me some starting points. thank you.
