Sprite Help

Ok, I'm not 100% certain if this is where I should post this, but I need help with designing sprites for my RP site. It's a Pokémon RP site, so I need sprites for the Gym Leaders and Elite Four. If people can sprite, and are interested, send me a PM here and I'll send you a link to my site.

You're welcome. :] I know that's kind of unhelpful, really, but I don't think that anyone here is really much of a sprite artist -- I mean, I dabble, but I have my own project I'm working on. GDD isn't really all that active at the moment either. (Plus I don't think this is the right place to recruit people)

If all else fails and you /really/ need sprites, you can always try asking for them in Graphic Design Requests, but I'm not entirely sure if any spriters go there.

... Spriting is not easy. For real. Might be better off asking in more professional GFX sites, but even then you might not find any.

I can sprite, but it depends on when you want them for, as in how quickly do you want them as I have a few college projects I'm doing. Also would you want them isometric or standard etc

I think how hard spriting is depends on the quality of the sprite, haha. xD For a pokemon site, it probably doesn't need to be SUPER HIGH QUALITY, but probably not like OG megaman, haha. xD

By far the best pixel/sprite tutorial I've found, it's simple to follow and the tips he gives make quite a difference.

honestly, those are easy. go to either pokemonelite2000.com or spriter's resource (can't remember the URL); all that person did was edit the sprite colours and mix/match heads and stuff. you can even do it in paint. =X

... I'm almost positive Mac has a paint equivalent. There are plenty of free softwares out there, as illustrated here: mac.appstorm.net/roundups/graphics-roundups/microsoft-paint-for-mac-8-fantastic-alternatives/

I mean, Google is at your finger tips. :]

Mac does have a Paint equivalent - however yes I could do something like that and sprite recolour, or do a similar or even custom style sprite
