This is based off the Chinese Chibi style, or at least a picture my gf sent me of them that she wanted her character done into similar style as a desktop background -

I prefer the version without the flower pattern in the background, it looks too low-quality to be included. Perhaps get a hi-def version of the image? Nicely done with the vector, I would just say add a bit more shadow/3D-ness to the hands and ears as you did with the face

I'd love to get the flowery one in hi-def however I've yet to find that anyway. I was trying to work on how to get the 3D-ness while copying the style I was given to work to though
