I would like to see a Geocities tribute skin on the v5 forum ;d black background, green or yellow text, tons of animated gifs with no relevance to anything, and hundreds of scripts from statcounter sites etc

sorry i didnt read the 26 pages before asking this, is there going to be email alerts by default? i.e. if someone replies to a thread you posted on, you get an email alert.

I hope there is email alert by default. This can really make or break some forums.

I just finished reading the first 5 pages of this forum. I am heartened by all the new features and the positive responses. congratulations Proboards, looks like you could be a test study in a Masters in Business Class on how to market a large internet transition to a community. I just came from wikia, what a contrast! Wikia could be a textbook example of how to completely mess up an internet transition. Everyone was up in arms about their new skin, the forums where overwhelmingly negative, and over 50 communities left, including the largest: world of warcraft, wikia retaliated and dozens of editors lost their adminship.

Again, what a contrast. wonderful job proboards, I am excited! Just two days ago i was asking our community if we could relocate, but now I am excited and will stay.

There's no fixed release date yet. At least, not one we're allowed to know, I'd guess the PB staff have their own targets they're not telling us about

It's plently stable, that's not a problem, BUT You can't convert your forum, you can only use a test forum.
