Click and drop down? (Not drop-down menu)

Hey there,

Okay technically this isn't for a proboards forum it's for a site that's going to be affiliated with my forum, so I don't have a link for you guys... But I was just wondering -

Is there a code/html that will allow me to create something to this effect -

I have a menu with several links in and I would like, when I click one of them for a list of sub-links to appear under it (between it and the next links in the menu. Similar to how the peek-a-boo side bar code that's becoming popular around here slides into view and then away again on click.

I'm not looking for a drop down menu or a menu to appear on hover or for it to be an image changing on click code. I need it as a peek-a-boo style, slide down from a clickable link to fit in between it and subsequent link.

If need be I can create a poor paint diagram for anyone? Lol.

Anything like this? (The pink links on the left). Honestly, I was a little confused when you were saying between but like the peek-a-boos. The PAB's slide out to the right or left but if they are between your links they have to slide down. So yup, little confused.

Edit: Maybe you don't want to use a pre-made script but a much smoother one I have on this this test site. The top side table called staff could easily be used for your menu. You can find the script here. Look for "Show/Hide content with sliding effect".
