ok, thanks for the link, but I'm afraid you'll have to dumb it down a shade.... where do I put the code? and what do I modify to dis-able invisibility?

ok, thanks for the link, but I'm afraid you'll have to dumb it down a shade.... where do I put the code? and what do I modify to dis-able invisibility? Here ya go: <script type="text/javascript"> <!--
// Created by Peter // Disabled certain profile elements for a user // Main footer
Array.prototype.in_array = function(){ if(this && this.length > 0 && arguments[0]){ for(a = 0; a < this.length; a ++){ if(this[a].toLowerCase() == arguments[0].toLowerCase()){ document.modifyForm[this[a]].disabled = true; } } } }
function disableProfile(user){ if(document.modifyForm){ if(document.cookie.match(new RegExp("\buser=" + user + ";?"))){ for(e = 0; e < document.modifyForm.elements.length; e ++){ if(arguments[1]){ switch(arguments[1].constructor){ case Array : arguments[1].in_array(document.modifyForm.elements.item(e).name); break; case String : if(document.modifyForm[arguments[1]]){ document.modifyForm[arguments[1]].disabled = true; break; } break; } } } } } }
disableProfile("USERNAME", "invisible"); disableProfile("USERNAME", "invisible");
//--> </script> Just change the usernames and add: disableProfile("USERNAME", "invisible"); after the other ones for more users.

Ok, i just reread that topic meself, and that isn't what you need exactly, sorry. Put this into your main page footer: <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- /* only staff can use custom avatars by elindir 101support.proboards43.com */ if(document.modifyForm && !document.getElementsByTagName('td')[5].innerHTML.match(/ion=admin/)) { document.modifyForm.invisble.parentNode.parentNode.parentNode.style.display='none'; document.modifyForm.invisible.value = ''; } // --> </script>

craig, I tried yours and nothing happened. I looked in the user's profiles, and the invisibility option is still there.

craig, I tried yours and nothing happened. I looked in the user's profiles, and the invisibility option is still there. It will still show for admins. Could you ask one of your members.

Try putting it as the very first code. Sometimes other codes loading first will keep it from working right.
