Viewing In IE and Firefox

Trying to set up a forum for my students to share outdoor adventures.

Found this site and with in a few hours I got something that looks like I want. Well it looks good on Firefox but when I checked it out on IE

I am not to bad at using the copy/paste but I don't even know where to go to get into the code let alone what I need to adjust at the root level so the site looks the same on all of the most popular web browsers.

If anyone has a simple fix I would greatly appreciate it.
The other option is to tell all the students to use Firefox

We'll need a link to help you out. Could you also outline what looks different from browser to browser?
