Forum URL: apollohoax.proboards.comI recently banned a member of my forum. A couple of days later someone noticed that all of the banned member's posts were gone. I didn't delete them, and there is no mention of the posts being deleted in the security log. So can anyone explain what is going on? Is it possible for users to delete their posts even after they have been banned? And if so, shouldn't there be a record of this in the security log? My forum mainly deals with debunking the "faked moon landings" conspiracy theory, and the banned member was a conspiracy theorist. It would be nice if I had a good explanation for why those posts went missing because right now it probably looks to his friends like I was trying to silence him. The truth is that I rarely delete posts, only do so when they violate the Proboards Terms of Service. I even made a screenshot of the security log showing that no posts were deleted.

Hi The only way a banned member could delete their posts, is if their details were removed from the banned list (unbanned) The security log should show who deleted the posts. However, if it's not the case, you'll need to check back for an admin to take a look. As it's the weekend, the office is now closed. Opening times are: 9-5 (Mon'-Fri') Pacific standard time.

Hi,
It appears a request was made to our abuse team by the banned member to have the postings they made removed from the forum, and our abuse team has complied with that request. For further details, you can email our abuse team directly at: abuseteam@proboards.com

Okay, thanks. I really wish I had been informed, however, because now I have people thinking I deleted them.
