Shop?

I know you guys don't take requests for this, but I am curious to know if there's going to be anything like this? Like, will members be able to automatically accumulate gold rather than make an admin use a code for it? That kind of thing. ^^;

I did suggest a shop and bank system (proper built in ones) and they were accepted. If I remember though they are going to be 5.x releases.

We do intend to have a shop. With the recent development of our plugin system we have been experimenting with the idea of using that to support the shop. However there is still a chance we will roll out a dedicated shop. It's up in the air right now and there is still a lot to consider. We still have a list of requested features from all of the alpha and beta testers for the forum shop. The shop could be a plugin made by ProBoards, or it could be a dedicated section of the admin area. It could be included at launch, or it could be v5.x. We still don't really know. We are still really focusing on core functionality right now. We really want to get v5 launched, and as badly as we want a shop it really isn't core. It's going to come down to a time issue.
