Post And Thread Count

will i be able to re-align my total post and thread count whenever i like or will it just be accurate. deleted post and threads throw it off

Currently there is an option in your forum to recount board totals, which should fix these numbers.

That being said, since V5 is rewritten from the ground up, hopefully ProBoards will have found a fix to this recurring issue. A ProBoards staff member will be able to give you more info.

Additionally, post counts function the same way they do in v4 with regards to deleting posts.

What exactly are you trying to request? Ryan is saying that user profile post counts function the same way as V4.

I assume the request is to make deleted post subtract a post from the post count?

This was decided a long time ago and won't change sorry.

I am reading this as a fix to the occasional database issues where board post and thread counts sometimes go wrong…

We'll discuss this further tomorrow at our staff meeting. I know that post count functionality wont change. But thread recounts can be discussed further. We'll see what happens.
