We haven't finalized file sizes yet, but it could be 1MB. There is also a chance that we may allow an upgrade. We do plan to allow an upgrade to total file storage space, that may or may not include an increase in individual file size. Stay tuned.

Just throwing this idea in. It may make it more difficult for you guys but how about Admins can set the file size per board, with a maximum of 5mb or some thing? So for tutorial boards for example, you could have 5mb as the size, but where as other boards that don't need that, perhaps coding - as another example - it could just be 1mb (I honestly have no idea but I assume 1mb would be a very big code, right?) Edit: Not sure how you'd do it exactly though. Maybe it'd have to be a drop down where the admin selects from options you guys have set in place (1mb, 2mb, 3mb, 4mb, 5mb). Other options would be great, like 500kb. Unless you could type the amount in.. So it could show like: Maxmimum file size for this board - [___]mb [___]kb [___] = input field where you type a specific number. if it was to then just be kb you want the maximum to be, you could have a '0' as default in both fields, then you just simply edit the kb input field.. If not this way, and you guys do like the idea, any way would be great. I'm confident you guys can think of a decent way

It's not a bad idea Stinky, we have discussed that idea before. It really will come down to how the final storage tracking system works. The maximum file size is not just limited by the amount of storage we give but also by the resources of our servers x the number of members. There will be a lot of experimentation with the system before anything is set in stone. We also aren't there yet in terms of development. But soon.
