I just tested to see when you close a tab/window and are in the "switch accounts" page, when you load the forum back up, where you are taken too. Unfortunately it takes you back to the home forum.

I was hoping it would take you back to the "switch accounts".

Could you guys maybe make it so in our profiles, we can set where our "landing page" is? Only a few selections.. Switch Accounts. Home Page. Or a 3rd option, we paste an url in from THAT forum, and then it lands us on that page?

The switch accounts page isn't on the forum. So when you try to load the forum there is no way you'll end up there. It's part of the global login system. It's on our secure login server. So loading the forum back up wont do that, they're different websites. The forum homepage is going to be the catch all if you're trying to access the forum.

In v5 you will be able to go to your global profile directly if you choose to do so. This is hard to demo since there is only one forum right now and no global profile page.

As for pasting a URL what would prevent people from posting random URL's or broken forum URL's? What if they made a thread a landing page and it was deleted after? There are too many issues with this.

When you enter a URL that is where you end up. If you go to the forum URL you'll end up at the forum. If you want to arrive at a different URL then bookmark it or type it in (or wait til v5 for the global profile page).
