[HELP] php Image Generator

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to begin building an image generator with php? My friend has made one customly for my website.

Based off the one you have there, you just need to learn how to composite images with GD. Then you just need some text functions from GD. All things that should be readily available on Google.

This is assuming you have knowledge of how to build PHP form handlers, etc. If not, you should be completing some PHP tutorials first to collect and process form data.
