Hi I'm planning to expand my forum into a website (based around the forum as the homepage) and so would like to embed the forum into a website. Currently this is more or less impossible, will this be easier to do in V5? I'm determined to make this happen . Thanks, Kyle

In v5 you could use Custom Pages to build your website. The forum and custom pages would be seamless integrated assuming you coded it that way. As far as actually embedding the forum? That won't be possible, there is a lot going on when you load a page on your forum. The good news is though, if you take the custom page solution, you will have access to forum widgets that you can use on the custom pages. Kind of like embedding little forum related helpers into your website. Like a recent post box, shoutbox, etc.

Will it be easy to build a website using the Custom Pages Solution? you can basically put anything you wanmt on the custom pages, so basically you can do whatever you want on them (within the ProBoards Terms of Service)

I want achieve something similar to this: www.yrea.org.uk although with the Forum as the Homepage, I want to make sure also that the forum has it's own navigation bar within the main site navigation so that the forum one has 'Home', 'New Topics', 'Login' etc. and the main one has 'News', Contact Us' etc. Will this be easy to achieve?

I'm asking because I recently gave up a website and it would be nice to set it up again Jerry

Another question just occurred to me. Will there be a limit on the number of custom pages we can have?
