Question About Border Around Forum?

Hello,

I've been thinking about making a border around my forum. I would like to include the side tables. How do I know how long my width should be on the image I decide to use for my head/foot images of the border?

the easiest way, imo, is to decide how wide you want your forum itself (without the side tables) to be [common sizes are between 550 - 750px]; then decide how wide you want the side tables [default is 200 I think?]. Add those two values together, and add about 10 px or so, depending on how big you want the gap between the edge of the border, and the edge of the side tables/boards.
