Security Threat to my Forum

Sorry if this is the wrong section to post in. But someone on Yahoo Answers has been claiming that he is going to destroy my forum. I'm almost sure I banned his IP and account. Not totally sure though. Here are a few of his claims. I just want to know if there's any validity to them.

"Anyone can access the passwords with minimal coding knowledge, It is a poorly put together site I have made quite clear I will take down. Why do you think nothing has been done yet?

Because so much sweet creamy information about everyone is stuffed into there poorly coded layout."

"If in one day I can have 80 drones eating bandwidth and gain mod access I am almost positive I can take it apart to "

How many times do I need to say I am a member of your website and I can see what the mods see. It shows how stuck to your own opinions you are. Like how mad and abusive you get not worthy of a forum.

I haven't? I know you created it from a german IP host lol."

He also said that he could view what the mods view. I'm not completely sure if he's BS'ing me. But my forum requires that you login to view it. And I'm pretty sure that everything is square, as far as what my members can view and what my mods and admins can view.

So is there any validity to what he's saying?

They are full of hot air. There are no known exploits against the ProBoards system.

If you want to lock down your forum just in case someone tries to spam it, enable Limited Registrations (under Admin -> General Settings) so that you have to approve any accounts that register, and ensure guests can not post on any of your boards.

Figured as much. I figured he would have done it already. Thank you. And I'm honestly not worried about spamming. I have mods to deal with that.

So see? This improves security even more. If the hacker took down your forum, it would be much harder to get at the back up. So, your forum could be restored. Sure you might loose a few posts, but it wouldn't be a big deal.
