I know a competitor forum has this feature, in the admin panel if you make a change (example: make a board only viewable to admins) and you want to make sure it actually works instead of logging out then logging back in there's a link the admin panel that allows you to see how the forum looks to guests or members.

In v5 you can do something similar to this. On the forum, you can switch to a guest in like a few seconds. And then reswitch back to your account in another few seconds.

This already exists as you can switch to the guest account from your main account in 2 clicks anytime you want. Additionally if you wanted to test what different groups or rank can see or can do you could create a test account. Link it to your primary account. Any time you want to test anything place the test account in that group or rank. In 2 clicks you are the test account. Check everything out. 2 clicks and you're admin again. Super easy.

Yeah I just thought about that today and I was like YAY!!! Making a test account will be so much easier. lol
