It would be nice if there was a way for the "month" to be defined as the next 30 days (or some specified number of days), rather than the current calendar month (ie August). The problem is that as the end of each month approaches there are fewer relevant (upcoming) events in the Events list. So, it would be wonderful if an admin could have the option of defining whether the list of Events This Month is the traditional current calendar month or a specified number of days in the future (a variable ranging from today [1 day] to 30 [or more]). In the case of selecting, say 30 days, the Events This Month (or Events Next 30 Days) would advance daily through the calendar by adding a day (event on day 31) and deleting a past day (yesterday's event) from the list showing Events Next 30 Days. Therefore, the list of Events Next 30 Days will always be for upcoming events within the specified future period (and not contain relatively useless past events).

Currently our Widget for Custom Pages that displays events shows a number of upcoming events set by the admin. For example, display the next 10 events. We haven't added the section for events to the info center, but I imagine that when we do it will function the same way.
You will no longer have the v4 issue of not seeing an event the next day if its the last day of the month. No more current month.
