Mini Biography:My name is Amanda I'm mom of two beautiful daughters and a son. My 2 year old daughter passed away this past July....
I’m a full time mommy and college student and I love doing both. I also work a full time job at a local waffle house. I’m originally from Cleveland, OH, but reside in Charleston, SC. Though I miss Ohio terribly because most of my family lives there, I enjoy living in Charleston. I like being far enough away from the family I do have near me that I can live my own life but still have them there for me and my children. I love my friends and being able to live on my own and do for myself.
I enjoy playing video games especially PC games like “World of Warcraft, Empire Earth, Age of Empires, Atlantica Online, Facebook Games, etc.” I enjoy all types of music. My favorite band would have to be Rehab *new and old* ~ It was a sad day for me when I heard they were splitting up at the end of last year. I love to read! I’m big on the “Twilight Series, Harry Potter, House of Night Series, and anything written by Stephen King or Dean Koontz!” I love to write, mainly poetry, songs, and blog posts. Though, I’m in college and I enjoy writing my college papers!
I am a singer/songwriter, I am a graphic designer and artist. I’ve been designing graphics and templates since I was about fourteen years old. I taught my self using various resources on the web. In college I’m studying to receive my Associate’s Degree in Science, however getting back into graphic and web design has got me thinking about changing my major to that. It is something that i really love to do and enjoy doing as both a hobby and a freelance artist. For the past few years since 04 I guess, I’ve been writing songs, but not recording them. Looking forward to composing some music and adding it to my portfolio here as well.
I’m not perfect, nobody is, but I try to live my life based on experiences both from my past and what I’ve learned over the years from others. I’ve made mistakes in my life and I would not take them back. Without those mistakes, I wouldn’t be where I am today or be the person that I have become and I’m very proud of who I’ve become.
Inspiration: I started designing back when Solid Snake Designs was around... Some of my inspiration came from Reedy, Tony, and many others...
