multiple quotes

Will there be a function along the lines of being able to quote multiple posts when you want to reply to a topic? I say this because I have had numerous instances when I needed to quote more than one post (in a similar likeness that PB staff do here) for whatever reason but ended up having to open each "quote" in a new tab and then copy/paste each one where they need to be in my main reply.

When you click an existing quote it will remain the same; however, functionality-wise, there could be an additional button, or an option in a drop down of additional post actions, to quote multiple posts with a checkbox-like interface that can be dynamically rearranged or simply post in the numerical manor of which you clicked the reply.

This is already a feature, yes. At the top right, of each post you want to quote, click the little icon and select the post. Click quote on the last one. Then simply type your responses under each one.

I believe there is another way to select them but I don't recall what it is. Someone else will tell us, though.

Just Alt + Click on the post you want. And then click quote on the last one.

Not a fail. Coming here and asking questions is what this is all about. We'll make sure to document things like this in our v5 help guide. Somethings you'll find through experimentation other things will take time.

Thanks for the replies. I did test it out and it works almost to the point of what I was searching for. However, no matter what order I click a post in to quote (EXAMPLE: 3 posts - Click 1st then 3rd then 2nd, it still quotes in the order of 1-2-3.) So there should be 'some' sort of filter or ordering. But it's easy to work around with copy/paste for UBBCode.

It just takes the order from the thread. It currently doesn't track the order in which you select them. We'll discuss this as a potential upgrade in the future. Thank you for the idea.
