Hi,

I was just logging into v5.proboards.com and got to the step where I was prompted to pick a username that would be the "global" one from then on.

Does it mean that my usernames on other PB forums will be switched to the global one immediately, starting now?

The username is for that forum. You can have different usernames for all forums. Just now you only have to remember 1 login for all forums.

Also just to add. Emails are completely hidden in v5. So no one knows your login.
