Critique on new design?

I have a cat-lovers forum and thought i'd redo it a bit. Anyways here is the test site for it. Please tell me what you think. If you don't like it, any suggestions would be awesome. I'm still learning about coding, but I really like how this came out.

That's pretty neat! I really like the color scheme and everything. The only thing I really see is the edges don't match up and a slight off color at the top, but that could just be me. Otherwise it's pretty awesome!

I like it especially the graphics and color scheme. The dark orange of the boards is a little off putting however.

It's a fairly bright skin, but given the colours I think you've given it a decent go.

My main concerns:
- The logo doesn't really fit the skin nor does it stand out like a logo should. I'd start by making it rectangular rather than having the rounded edges, and making the text stand out more.
- Some of the links on the lighter orange (e.g. the menu) aren't that clear/readable. You might want to experiment with colours.
- Make the background image fixed, I think it'll look better.
