I used to have a favicon for our forum that would show in the browser.
About two days ago, I noticed it switched to a default PB icon.
Is this by design?
Can we not do favicons anymore in the Global Header?

Are you using Chrome? There have been a few posts in the past week or two about this both on PB Support and on the internet in general, all using Chrome, so it is possible that it is a bug in a recent version of Chrome.

Ah, yup, I am in fact using Chrome. Weird that other sites aren't having the issue though.

It depends how they are adding the favicon in.
The most sure-fire way to do it is have a favicon.ico file in the root directory (this is how the default PB favicon is applied). Browsers are also okay with a favicon added using meta-tags in the <head>, but now Chrome isn't happy if they're added in the <body> (which custom favicons on PB and some other places are).

Yeah, I noticed with my site (Not PB, but a site I programmed) my Favicon doesn't want to work in Chrome. My other site on the other hand still has my Favicon. Same coding too, that's what I don't get. haha.
