Why must they have a board associated with them, and why are they then posted as threads? I tried making a calendar event for election day, but it ended up posting it in Support in addition to adding the event to the calendar.  |

In v4.5, calendar events are basically threads you can't reply to. Now you can associate a thread that can be replied to with an event. If you prefer the old system, you can create a hidden board and place the calendar events there.
