Currently, if you want to use an image in your banner, or have a background image, you can only upload from your pc. I have a lot of my skin backgrounds on either photobucket or imageshack, and now have to download them to my pc in order to use them.
Will there be an option in the future to use images hosted online?

You still can. Just dont upload it. Like the banner. I just put my photobucket link in. and it worked fine.
