subscribing to boards and categories

I would love to be told that I CAN do this instead of this being a request. I'm new to using ProBoards so maybe I just haven't figured out how to do this yet.

In several other forums where I am a member, we can subscribe to boards and categories so that we receive an email notification of new threads posted. Is there no way to do that with a Proboard?

I have seen how to bookmark a thread, but I'm talking about subscribing to entire boards and categories. It's very useful for remembering to return to the board.
