Now that we have the ability to ignore posts, I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade this so the posts by the person being ignored do not appear at all.
I am referring to someone who (with the group's approval and encouragement) is the only poster for page after page. If the posts completely disappeared, I would only see the posts by other people and not have to go through all these pages to see something said by someone else.
It's a sports thread, and although I might be interested in comments about sports, this guy tells us about every play in every game. Helpful and desired by some, but it just wastes my time to scroll through it.

The posts currently do not display. If you are referring to the collapsed version being hidden we can't remove them completely without throwing off page counts, etc. Someone could make a plugin or code (or modify the template) to hide the collapsed versions though. But if it's like you say, posts and posts for pages, you would have empty pages in a thread with no content at all.

I guess this would be too difficult. At least the play descriptions are extremely short and scrolling can go quickly.
But the others like them.
