Thank you! As they're regularly edited tables one line would actually be so so so terrifying

As well as html/none parsing new lines as breaks mode is there any chance of a collapsible version with remember the collapse on a key?
Very excited for the html mode!

I am sorry I haven't released an update with that yet, am just so busy. Will try and get it out this weekend. And yes, but it probably won't use a key.

Thanks Peter! Can't wait Just want to explain why the key would be great for us (and certainly other RP forums, and possibly any forum where people have more than one account) because of people having multiple accounts and will want different messages expanded collapsed on them. (IC Weyrling accounts want Weyrling lessons - but it'd be great if main accounts and non Weyrling Accounts could collapse them as an example.) Same for wishing for the categories collapsing on a key. Character accounts could then have only their location expanded etc - but that's unrelated to this thread.

So are you saying that some people might collapse the same message on 1 account, but keep it open on the other? Or, would it be a different message in the case? I want to try an avoid a key if I can, as so little data is going to be stored, so would be a waste of a key.

Yes that's exactly what I'm saying! Ok, will have to think about this then. Your situation is probably quite unique, so yeah, will have a think about it.

Thanks Peter, I'm sure other roleplay sites would use it too And someone else further back asked for collapsible/dismissable so while the key aspect might not be important to them collapsible would be.

I am with Peter on this. Using up a key on such a small detail seems as though it might cause much bigger problems further down the line.

Jordan has put the collapsible categories on a key that this could share I don't see how it'll cause a problem, it really seems to me like the sort of things user keys were designed for. Sent from phone, please forgive typos!

Only problem is that people are forced to install that plugin.
I don't think a key is right for this, and will likely go the browser storage route.

Oh, I didn't realise keys were sort of plugin dependant. I guess I thought if you used the same key this plugin would also install it?
And I have a user (private) key already used by this plugin, could the collapse info not go on that one along with whatever else it's needed for?
pretty please?

Let me get the basic expand / collapse feature done, then I might make a special case for people such as yourself.

Honstly not pestering!
but for an event that has kicked off on our forum, I need to put a few board specific 'header tables' up and was wondering whether to go ahead and try and make these in the board headers or if the table accepting version of this plugin was going to be appearing soon?

2.4.2 available for download.
This version adds a new setting for those experiencing issues with HTML. By default, new lines are converted to break tags (br), but this can effect things such as tables, as the browser will attempt to re-nest.
If you aren't having these issues, you can skip this update.
