Collapsible Categories

The forum I'm upgrading, in addition to having some categories not be collapsible, put the following texts on collapsible categories:

• "Click to hide this category" (when open)
• "Click to show this category" (when closed)

Do you think you could add this feature, or the ability to have images for it, to the plugin?

Also...I think I'd still like a feature to make it so that some categories can't be collapsed, if possible.

HI' JORDAN,
With your guidance? I have your Plugin working successfully on our Board, Thank You!

Now, me being the 'admin'  and changing the Background Photo etc., which changed everybody's Background  I thought that all our members would benefit from me doing this change with the Plugin,
and they would have the Plugin too. Sadly, that's not happening ..... is there any way that I can make MY Plugin Settings available to the rest of our Members??

If we're talking about the same subjects?? (see my Board above Glesga Folk) but if we are??
I don't know if you typed your 'Text in the appropriate box when you were doing the Board Colour or not?
 or 'ticked' the  appropriate box?? I have colour and text and that's good enuff for me ... I had a helluvva time
just finding out how to do those two settings ... and now I can't find my way back in to change it again.

Color I have.. I can't get text to show.. I want a message that says  "New post"

Did you just type the Text or use HTML code or UBB?
At one time you could put an icon in there.. but that seems to be broken.. Hope it gets fixed soon as this is my favorite plug in..

Where it asked for TEXT?? I just typed in 'Yoo'Hoo' New Post' and clicked on the box on the right ...... which I can't find anymore, LoL!
I fiddle around with these things and then forget what I've just done

I wanted the text ON THE ACTUAL THREAD to change for a New Post' ... as it did on the Old Board, that way you can just 'scan' the right hand side for new comments.

Oh well, can't have it all.  What's your board's name "Drunk Clan"??

Made a small update so the plugin should not have its memory wiped if you have a custom home page.

Is the new post text or new post image still not showing for people?

Hi' Jordan, the New Post Text comes and goes on my Board, but mostly it's GOOD ...   will we have to Download the new changes???  or will they happen automatically??  Thank you.

Hi Jordan,

Thanks for that update, that's already making things more usable and me less angsty for it getting a user specific key remembering do da

However it has made me realise that I miss the -new text I had going originally. Now it's totally my fault this has gone missing and not a plugin bug but I wondered if you had any suggestions of a way I might be able to put it back.

Basically I think the problem is because I removed the title_wrapper class following Brian's template mod quoted below. I tried putting it onto the title-bar div but either did it wrong or it didn't work.

EDIT: I put the title_wrapper back in and it still doesn't seem to work which baffles me as I manually added my new post text to the build area as there was just a '' in that slot so I'm not sure if it's grabbing things from the plugin settings properly.... which may explain the problem other people (and now me) are having with their new text/images

You don't want to add your code in the build area, do it in the Settings tab. If you add it in the build area it will just be overwritten by what is in the settings tab.

HI' Jordan, I'm the 'admin' on our board 'GlesgaFolks' and I have your Plugin working good on there,
NOW how do I get it to the rest of our members?? give them the Link to your First Post (Page One?)
as I don't see any 'Export Plugin' facility on my board.
