So it doesn't work for your members on your forum? To be clear, each member has to collapse or expand the categories themselves. It's a personal customization option for each person, so if you collapse a category on your computer, it will only be that way for you.

Here's a version made by iPokemon that collapses all the categories by default.

I had it in both. Removed it from the build bit now... still doesn't show the new text, guess I'm on the same page as everyone else with this problem now

Looks like it is because you guys are removing the <div class="title_wrapper"> as someone stated earlier.

I updated the code so that it will work whether you guys modify that portion of the board or not.

Ahhh.. I must have removed that for a reason..Can't remember why? But all good now due to your update! IT LIVES!!!

I made one small change.. <img src="http://i.imgur.com/RT37P.png" style="float:right;" />  I changed "right" to center.. Otherwise my icon was all the way over to the right.

Now all is good in the world and I will sleep the perfect sleep!

I had put the title_wrapper back in and the old version still didn't work but the new version does yay!

Only request left (greedy person that I am) is for it to go on a key so each account remembers its own collapse settings (we use character sub accounts so having different boards collapsed/expanded for different account son the same machine, and for the settings to carry from machine to machine would be EPIC!)

Yeah, that's just a personal preference. Didn't even realize you could do float: center, haha. You may want to make sure that code works in other browsers, since I think the officially supported values are left, right, none and inherit.

Weird, you may have modified something else as well unintentionally, but the code now works whether you have a thousand nested elements or none.

And I've got that on my mental todo list along with integrating iPokemon's default collapsed categories and having the ability to re-order categories. I've just been busy with school and rarely feel like working on my plugins.  I'm developing a website in Ruby on Rails so I already have a lot of web work to do...but I will try and get the plugin keys working. It shouldn't be too bad, but I need to look at the key system again to see how it works.

The 'new plugin' from iPokeman'?? when installed on my board?  causes the Categories to Open and Shut like a Concertina, LoL!

Had a thought, no idea if it's possible. Seeing as in an ideal world for me both this plugin and if Peter makes the Global Messages collapsible would be on a key so that the users different accounts remembered the different collapses no matter what machine they were using.

You may be able to tell from this post that I have no ideas how keys work other than that they store user data (I assume specific colours for the colour palette, money for the money plugin, the description for the thread one, and no idea what the global message one does at the moment )

Yeah, we should be able to share keys. I'll try and work on getting the plugin to use a key and Peter can tag onto the key if he wants. I plan on naming it "collapsible_memory".
