Collapsible Categories

Hey Jordan

Now that early conversions have started is there any chance of the updates:
Using a key to store collapsed or not for each user.
Option to start with things collapsed?

Jordon, Can you make this plugin so the categories are closed when the page loads? (for everybody)

I would like that too. I have a custom home page and now every time someone goes to the forum page all the categories are automatically shown.

My icon (pen and paper) no longer works. No changes have been made..

Ideally I'd like the categories collapsed by default if/when thats possible. But for now... could someone offer any help. My categories collapse but when I leave the site and come back they are all open again. It worked fine when I first uploaded it and as far as I'm aware I haven't changed anything...

You'll need to make a quick edit to the plugin, since it tries to execute on your custom home page which does not have the boards listed and so it clears the memory since it expects them to be listed on that page.

Admin > Plugins > Build > Collapsible Categories > Components

In the Javascript, find and remove the red.

init: function() {
    var page_id = proboards.data('route').name;

    if (/^home|forum$/i.test(page_id)) {
        this.loadPluginData();
        this.loadJsonData();
        this.collapseCategories();
    }
},

Then save your changes.

Looks like Proboards changed the DOM again, will have to fix it.

Edit:Attention Jordan For some reason it's fine when your already on the site but when you log-out then back in the cats are open instead of closed.
