So I noticed that only the member's can change what group they are displayed in. I was wondering if there was a way for that to be admin editable as well. Because I have a few groups that i'm using just for categorizing people in the members list. PS3 and Xbox. But I don't want that to show in their profile's i would much rather it show their post rank. Is there any way this can be done? It would be awesome.

You can create hidden groups, and put users into those groups. That way their rank will continue to show?

Is there a built in way I can do this? Or would it be possible to accomplish what I am trying to achieve via a plugin?

Go to the groups tab, then next to the hidden group, click the number of people in that group. That will bring up the members list.

It's either hidden or it's not. I'm sorry. If the information is available to everyone then it's available. If it's not then it's not. We can't add additional options for special cases like this. It would only confuse users further with too many group choices. We've tried to keep the groups system simple, but even then it's still very complex. We can't say a group is hidden except in these certain areas. And that just opens up too many other possible group combinations. Sorry.

Is it possible for a plugin to do this? Have it so that when i add someone to a private group(well only 2 of them), it wont change their display rank? Sorry for so many questions.
