Bulk Upload (Avatars)

I think it would be really helpful to have a way to upload avatars in bulk, or even a way to just drag and drop them into the avatar section. Running sports leagues, we have a ton of avatars that would be so easy to upload if we had one of the two options to do such a thing. If this isn't feasible, then I'll just start uploading them all as soon as the 'official conversion' takes place.

Assuming you're talking about forum avatars, you can upload multiple avatars at once, you just need to select multiple files after hitting the "Select Image" button.

I do understand that this feature is available, however, is there any time-table as to when this might be in working condition? As of right now, it doesn't work .. at least for me, it doesn't.

Nevermind the fact that all my avatars are currently stored on my photobucket and unless I download them all to my pc, I have to link one at a time.

I will try that later.. going out for a while. I will note that on my previous betazone copy, I had linked from my photobucket, using the same file names and it was fine. Now, it won't do that either.

I tried one in lowercase but no such luck.    This is such a great feature .. 'bulk' .. I can't WAIT FOR THIS TO WORK RIGHT!  lmao

I have yet to upload a single avatar, let alone avatars in bulk.  I get the same error as moonbeam.  And yes, each file name is in lowercase letters, including the extension (which is jpg) and well under 1MB in size.  On the off chance they were actually uploading despite the error message, I tried to select a "forum avatar" in my profile.  No joy.

My Err Bear message is in plain text with the html coding mixed in with it.  (Windows XP, Firefox 17)

Celeste, mine had html coding it too. I just removed it from my post for clarity's sake. I think this is a new bug, since I'd been able to do it on my first betazone board.
