I have a big problem with variables.
I and I am sure countless members here, know or understand very little, or absolutely nothing about variable plugins.
In V4.5. If I wanted to add to my forum. I simply copied and pasted codes to the header or footer, and all worked well.
Plugins that do not have variables are very easy to install.
But I am sure that I am not alone, in that Variables for members who are not PC savvy are a night mare.
Would it be possible that Plugins with variables, are shown with typical examples. So the less well informed can copy the working example to plug them in, in a working state , and then can alter them if required ?
