slide show etc

I would like to have an easier way to place a slide show or better yet a carousel. At the moment I am using marquees and this is not the greatest for showing logos, images etc.
Is there now a code here for this or still just a Marquee !!

A template modification will be more suited for this.

What I would recommend is looking at existing jQuery plugins that do what you are after. Find one you like, then post in the template modifications board, and someone will help you integrate it into your forum with instructions (just let them know where you want it).

Thank you for moving this thread and for your reply. I will look those over and also see how and where I will want these. I plan on doing some changes to my forum so I will wait until that is done and I know for sure where it will go.

ok I have been testing the new forum look and made my changes to the forum. So what I need is a slider that is easy to use and edit ( change images every few weeks)since I am not very good with all the tech stuff. Also my mods need to be able to add images.
I would like to have the slider above the news feed, below the adverts. It should be one that is not very high. I looked at some of the sliders in that link and Orbit looks simple and easy.
