Is that why the smilies I put into Smilie Dropdown only show in Quick Reply but not in Reply? In Reply we are stuck with the default PB smilies.

Lord Jaguar, I have the smiley button in Reply. When clicked, it shows all the available smileys. But they are the smileys provided by proboards. I want to be able to put alternate smileys there, the same as the ones I have for Quick Reply.

But do you have that View All Smileys button on the same popup as where all those ProBoard Smileys are at ? And I'm talking about when you click on REPLY, is there a smiley button on UBBC buttons. That Smiley Button is the one to click on to VIEW ALL SMILEYS.

That Smiley Button is the one to click on to VIEW ALL SMILEYS. No I don't. When I click the Smiley button it opens up to show the default smileys. Underneath them it says "disable smileys". So no "view all smileys".

Update your QUICK REPLY BBCODE BUTTONS plugin, you are currently using the vewwy vewwy old version (0.8.5) which uses a method to add custom buttons that does not play nice in the sandbox. Here is a quote from over four years ago describing the problem Eton, I am using the previous BBCode for the quick Reply and my smilies in the pull down list have stopped working for the Reply. This is the same for the PM area as well. Would this be relate to the BBCode Version 0.8.5 ? Or would I need to contact Todge on the matter since it is the smilies? The newer version I just posted is meant to make it more compatible (play nicer) with other plugins but I am seeing v0.8.5 on both of your forums. Also according to what Todge told me about starting to version stamp his plugins it appears you're running some pretty outdated versions and I suggest you update them to the latest.

It is done! Thank you very much for this, Chris! Lord Jaguar, thanks so much for your patience and for pin-pointing where the problem lay.

I've been successfully using this plugin for awhile and it's great!
Now I've had to re-do all my smilies thanks to photobucket, the new URL's are scrambled. Is there any way to re-name them or provide a better shortcut so you can use the ::__:: method instead of " ::zMildfmU::" for example.

Is there any way to re-name them or provide a better shortcut so you can use the ::__:: method instead of " ::zMildfmU::" for example. The plugin was originally created so that you don't have to do that, the smiley code being taken from the filename. BUT, I have had a few requests to add this feature, so, with the next update I will probably add that option. BUT, you should have an option in the security settings (or similar) of your chosen image host to stop it scrambling file-names.

Alo there, the plugin is working very well so far, I only have a small issue That's how it looks while I'm making the list and testing it Looks perfectly fine, and it does not resize, which is a good thing. But when you actually open the list in a thread... I tried fixing it on my own but honestly I have no idea what I'm doing @_@' The only code I've added was this .smGroup { border: 5px solid black; font: 20px arial, sans-serif; } Everything else is empty. I wanted it to look just like when I'm making the list, is that possible?
