So I'm really liking the leader function, given that a lot of (roleplay) sites will probably use them for specific groups. I know that I will be using them for my site as well.
However, while I was messing around with it I noticed that--outside of any admin-like functions you can give to the account--they do not really have much else in the way of notifying that they are a leader of a specific group. I know that for my site in specific I am looking to give certain characters leadership positions for groups without allowing them to have admin/mod functions, and would like them to be noticeable in some way.
I was wondering if someone could create a plug-in that would allow the admins to give the assigned leaders some sort of icon next to their username (or even a font style, for people who want things to stay a bit more uniform) to signify that they have a high placement in a group (even if they are not given admin powers).
Maybe they could set up the following features in the plug-in, which would probably be accessible either in the leader management area or in the character's profile:
- Allow the admin to choose if they want to give the leader an icon or a specific font style (bold, italic, dashed underline, etc.). This can actually work for admin accounts too, for people who would like to make them more obvious.
- Allow the admin to upload a specific icon to be used by the leaders
- Have the ability to choose which leaders get icons and which don't, and if they want to turn icons/font styles on and off entirely
I'm sure other things can be added as well! If I could make this plug-in myself I would but I'm not that savvy. XD So I would love for someone to come up with something for this! It would be greatly appreciated.
